An international 5-star hotel in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced Lobby Ambassador to join its Front Office team. The ideal candidate must have relevant hotel experience, excellent guest interaction skills, and a polished, welcoming presence to create a strong first impression for guests upon arrival.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a professional and memorable first impression
- Maintain strong lobby presence and assist guests with directions, inquiries, and general information
- Support smooth arrival and departure experiences by coordinating with Front Office, Concierge, Bell Desk, Valet, and Guest Relations teams
- Recognize VIP guests, repeat guests, and special occasion guests, ensuring personalized attention and proper follow-up
- Assist with queue management, lobby flow, guest guidance, and service coordination during busy periods
- Escort guests when required and provide information about hotel facilities, dining outlets, services, and local attractions
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests in a courteous and professional manner
- Report guest feedback, complaints, or service opportunities to the relevant department for immediate action
- Ensure the lobby area remains presentable, welcoming, and aligned with international 5-star hotel standards
- Maintain grooming, posture, communication, confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times
Requirements
- Must have relevant experience in Front Office, Guest Relations, Concierge, Lobby Host, or luxury hotel guest service
- Prior experience in a 5-star or international hotel environment is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong guest service mindset with a warm, confident, and professional approach
- Presentable, well-groomed, and able to represent a luxury hotel image
- Ability to handle guest inquiries, complaints, and busy lobby operations calmly and efficiently
- Fluent in English; additional languages such as Arabic, Russian, French, German, or Chinese are an advantage
- Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Familiarity with hotel operations and guest journey standards is an advantage
