Assistant, Sales Operations – Footwear

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant, Sales Operations to support the day-to-day sales order and operations process for our Footwear business. This role will work closely with Sales, Warehouse, Inventory, and Logistics teams to ensure orders are entered accurately, processed efficiently, and shipped within established timelines.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, comfortable working with data and Excel, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the sales order entry process, ensuring orders are entered accurately and in a timely manner.

- Review customer orders for accuracy, including quantities, pricing, ship dates, and other order requirements.

- Track orders throughout the fulfillment process and follow up on outstanding issues.

- Partner with the Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure orders move through picking, packing, and shipping efficiently.

- Monitor ship windows and communicate potential delays or issues to the appropriate internal teams.

- Assist with inventory tracking and reporting, including identifying inventory availability and potential shortages.

- Maintain and update sales and inventory reports for internal teams.

- Pull and organize sales reports and assist with analyzing sales data and trends.

- Use Excel to maintain spreadsheets, update reporting, and organize sales and inventory information.

- Assist the Sales team with customer inquiries, order updates, inventory questions, and other sales operations needs.

- Help ensure information is accurate and up to date across internal systems.

- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Warehouse, Inventory, Logistics, and other internal teams to resolve order and fulfillment issues.

- Assist with identifying opportunities to improve processes and make the sales order workflow more efficient.

- Support the Sales Operations team with additional administrative and operational projects as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1–3 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, order management, customer service, or a related role.

- Footwear, apparel, accessories, or consumer products experience strongly preferred.

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic reporting.

- Experience with A2000, Infor M3 or another ERP system is strongly preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Comfortable working with numbers, reports, and large amounts of data.

- Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

- A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving.

Salary: The anticipated base salary is $67k-$70k annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
