About the Role

Senior Designer - Premium Brand Sleepwear & Loungewear

We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Designer to lead the design and development of our new premium licensed sleepwear and loungewear collections.

This is a key creative role with significant ownership of the Brand's business. The Senior Designer will work directly with the Head of Apparel & Sourcing on the development, creative direction, and execution of the collection, helping build the business from its early stages.

The ideal candidate has a strong fashion point of view and can understand and translate the brand DNA into elevated, relevant, and commercially successful sleepwear and loungewear. This person must combine creativity with strong product knowledge and understand how to develop a cohesive collection from initial concept through production.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the seasonal design direction for the brand's sleepwear and loungewear.
• Work directly with the Head of Apparel & Sourcing to establish product direction and develop the collection.
• Research fashion trends, silhouettes, color, prints, graphics, fabrics, trims, and details while maintaining the
integrity of the brand.
• Develop seasonal concepts, mood boards, color palettes, print direction, and complete collections.
• Create detailed CADs, sketches, colorways, and design presentations.
• Develop elevated sleepwear and lounge silhouettes with a strong understanding of fabrication, fit, construction,
and finishing.
• Work closely with merchandising, production, technical design, sourcing, and overseas factories throughout the
development process.
• Select and develop fabrics, prints, trims, washes, embellishments, and special details appropriate for the brand.
• Review samples and provide clear design comments throughout development.
• Prepare collections and presentations for internal reviews, licensor approvals, and customer meetings.
• Ensure product remains consistent with brand standards while meeting commercial, costing, and
delivery requirements.
• Manage multiple seasonal developments and deadlines simultaneously.
• Provide design leadership and help establish a strong creative standard for the collection.

Qualifications
• 7+ years of women's fashion design experience; strong sleepwear, loungewear, intimates, or related apparel
experience preferred.
• Strong contemporary or designer-brand aesthetic.
• Excellent understanding of women's silhouettes, fabrics, prints, color, garment construction, and fit.
• Experience working with licensed or established fashion brands is highly preferred.
• Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
• Ability to create professional CADs, presentations, prints, graphics, and colorways.
• Strong knowledge of overseas product development and working with factories.
• Ability to balance elevated design with commercial viability and target pricing.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Salary: The anticipated base salary is $115k-$120k  annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
