What You'll Do

As a Community Response Specialist, you will:

- Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating that recovery and personal growth are possible.
- Build trusting relationships with individuals in recovery and provide ongoing encouragement and support.
- Assist participants in identifying their personal strengths, interests, goals, and pathways to success.
- Conduct community outreach and case management activities to connect individuals with valuable resources and services.
- Maintain accurate project logs, reports, case notes, and records within databases and tracking systems.
- Collaborate with team members and community partners to ensure participants receive comprehensive support.
- Help create an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive environment for individuals from diverse backgrounds.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 12 months of successful paid or volunteer work experience within the last three years.
- Eligibility to obtain or maintain Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) certification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data entry systems, case documentation, and report writing.
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Experience working with individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- A genuine passion for helping others reach their full potential.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in recovery services, behavioral health, social services, community outreach, or case management.

Schedule & Work Environment

- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Occasional evening hours on Tuesdays

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hartford, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits
