Looking to launch or grow your career in analytical chemistry? We're seeking a QC Chemist to join a leading global chemical manufacturing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for Chemistry or Chemical Engineering professionals who enjoy hands-on laboratory work, analytical instrumentation, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position offers exposure to a wide range of analytical techniques while providing long-term opportunities for growth into Quality, R&D, Project Engineering, and Leadership roles.

Night Shift

- Sunday - Thursday
- 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

What You'll Be Doing

- Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Conduct routine analytical testing using GC, HPLC, pH, viscosity, specific gravity, and other laboratory methods.
- Evaluate analytical results and ensure products meet established quality specifications.
- Prepare samples, standards, reagents, and laboratory solutions.
- Perform instrument calibrations, verification checks, and routine maintenance activities.
- Document laboratory results within SAP and other quality systems.
- Support investigations, process improvements, and quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Technical teams to ensure product quality and consistency.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Hands-on experience with GC and/or HPLC instrumentation.
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry and wet chemistry techniques.
- Strong laboratory documentation and data management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Experience

- Previous experience in a manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, or industrial laboratory.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or other regulated environments.
- Experience using SAP or other laboratory information systems.
- Experience supporting quality control operations within a production facility.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Martinsburg, WV.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
