We're partnering with a well-established Seattle-based organization seeking an experienced Supply Chain Network Strategy Manager to lead large-scale logistics and distribution optimization projects. This is a highly visible role where you'll work directly with senior leadership to evaluate, design, and optimize warehouse and distribution networks while leading strategic sourcing initiatives with major 3PL providers. ## What You'll Be Working On

### Distribution Network Consolidation
Lead a large-scale initiative to consolidate multiple warehouse locations into a streamlined future-state distribution network. You'll evaluate locations, costs, operational requirements, supplier capabilities, and overall business impact.

3PL & Logistics Optimization

Drive sourcing, cost analysis, contract negotiations, and performance evaluations for warehousing and logistics providers. You'll identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service levels, scalability, and total landed cost.
## Key Responsibilities
Lead complex warehouse and 3PL sourcing initiatives from strategy through implementation Design and execute comprehensive RFP processes Evaluate logistics providers, warehouse operators, and distribution partners Develop financial models, cost analyses, and executive business cases Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and commercial terms Analyze warehousing, transportation, labor, inventory, and fulfillment costs Conduct supplier due diligence and operational assessments Develop supplier scorecards, KPIs, and governance frameworks Assess network capacity, scalability, and business continuity risks Present recommendations and findings to VP-level stakeholders Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service teams
## What We're Looking For

### Required
7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Operations Proven experience leading complex RFPs and supplier selection initiatives Deep understanding of warehousing, distribution, transportation, and 3PL operations Strong contract negotiation and supplier management experience Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling and cost analysis Experience presenting recommendations to executive leadership Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
### Preferred
Experience managing large-scale logistics spend ($100M+) Knowledge of WMS, TMS, ERP, and supply chain technology platforms Power BI experience Lean Six Sigma, CPSM, CSCP, APICS, CSCMP, or related certifications Experience supporting North America and international logistics networks
## Work Environment
This is a hybrid position based in Seattle, WA. 📍 Onsite Tuesday-Thursday 🏠 Remote Monday & Friday 🕗 Typical business hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Ideal candidates will come from organizations with sophisticated logistics and distribution networks, including 3PL providers, retail, consumer products, manufacturing, or e-commerce environments.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
