What You'll Do

- Manage project accounting activities across multiple active construction projects
- Process high-volume Accounts Payable and support Accounts Receivable functions
- Prepare and support progress billings, retention tracking, and project reporting
- Review subcontractor documentation, lien releases, and contract compliance requirements
- Perform job costing analysis and reconcile project financial data
- Process weekly union payroll and certified payroll reporting
- Support month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Partner with Project Managers to monitor project budgets, costs, and financial performance
- Assist with audits and financial reporting requirements
- Utilize JD Edwards, Textura, Procore, and Excel to manage project financials

What We're Looking For

Required

- 3+ years of construction accounting or project accounting experience
- Experience with public works projects
- Strong Accounts Payable and project billing experience
- Knowledge of job costing, lien releases, retention, and progress billings
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred

- JD Edwards experience
- Textura or Procore experience
- Certified payroll and union payroll experience
- Experience working with contractors and subcontractors
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
