The project:

This project offers the chance to join a talented Mace team in delivering an ultra-luxury residential and hospitality project with significant civils and infrastructure scope, collaborating with renowned architects and global consultants. The project involves extensive infrastructure, landscape and built assets, delivered rapidly through Mace as a hands-on Project Management Consultant with FIDIC Engineer responsibility.

Managing complex works packages with commercial discipline, this role oversees risk, opportunity and profitability while supporting senior commercial colleagues in monthly procedures, including Cost Value Reporting, to deliver strong project outcomes and uphold robust financial governance.

You’ll be responsible for:

- You will ensure robust quality systems are in place and suitably managed in line with service excellence.
- You will manage delivery from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
- You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of the Associate Director and other senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.

- You will manage design and wider consultant teams in a collaborative manner to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
- You will lead and manage the project team and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).
- You will actively network, innovate, and seek understanding of best practice, utilising the full depth of knowledge of Mace Group, the Centres of Excellence, Mace Way Control Centre and Knowledge Hub.

Your responsibilities:

- Champion safety, wellbeing, inclusivity and responsible delivery across every project.
- Deliver projects through clear planning, quality systems and strong stakeholder collaboration.
- Supervise change and commercial performance with integrity.
- Lead teams to achieve KPIs, share best practice and unlock potential across Mace.
- Lead commercial teams, providing structure, tools and direction to deliver area plans and excellence.
- Manage subcontractor claims, change, technical correspondence and contractual compliance.
- Oversee applications, invoices, IPCs and consultant fees with commercial discipline.
- Embed collaboration and carbon-conscious delivery to support net zero transition.

You’ll need to have:

- Degree in quantity surveying, commercial management, or a related discipline.
- MRICS/RICS qualified or working towards professional accreditation.
- Extensive years of commercial experience on major construction projects.
- Strong commercial governance, contract management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
