The project:

This project offers the chance to join a talented Mace team in delivering an ultra-luxury residential and hospitality project with significant civils and infrastructure scope, collaborating with renowned architects and global consultants. The project involves extensive infrastructure, landscape and built assets, delivered rapidly through Mace as a hands-on Project Management Consultant with FIDIC Engineer responsibility.

Manages the commercial delivery of work packages, partnering with package managers and the project commercial lead to protect margin, control cost, and drive performance through robust risk and opportunity management.

You’ll be responsible for:

- You will ensure robust quality systems are in place and suitably managed in line with service excellence.
- You will manage delivery from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
- You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of the Associate Director and other senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.

- You will manage design and wider consultant teams in a collaborative manner to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
- You will lead and manage the project team and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).

Your responsibilities:

- Champion safety, wellbeing, inclusivity and responsible delivery across every project.
- Deliver projects through clear planning, quality systems and strong stakeholder collaboration.
- Supervise change and commercial performance with integrity.
- Lead teams to achieve KPIs, share best practice and unlock potential across Mace.
- Manage subcontract packages from procurement through to final account.
- Prepare tender documentation, administer tenders and support material procurement.
- Report commercial performance, cost control, change, risk and opportunity to protect margin.
- Collaborate across teams to drive value engineering, reduce carbon and deliver shared outcomes.

You’ll need to have:

- A degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent).
- MRICS/RICS qualified or working towards professional accreditation.
- Strong commercial management expertise, including contracts, risk, change control and cost optimisation.
- Experience in FIDIC contracts
- Sound knowledge and ability to undertake and advise on Contract Administration and Contract Management.
- Proficient in MS office tools.
- Preparing monthly commercial reports.
- Developed planning and organizational skills.
- Provides clear direction and creates a culture of high performance.
- Encourages and empowers others, providing praise & recognition of efforts.
- Actively supports the wider team to ensure plans are met.
