Senior Procurement Manager (Corporate Real Estate / Retail Construction Sector)

An exciting opportunity to join the procurement and supply chain management team working in the private commercial sector delivering projects for our global corporate real estate clients. The role will involve advising these clients across the full range of procurement and supply chain services.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Building trusted relationships, both face to face and remotely across internal and external stakeholders at all levels and across various countries and markets
- Managing and performs end to end procurement and supply chain exercises incl. strategy, market analysis, market engagement, prequalification, tender drafting.
- Managing, moderating and negotiating with supply chain, produces recommendation report and monitor supply chain performance.
- Applying market insight and due diligence to inform commercial decisions and risk-balanced procurement strategies.
- Applying working knowledge of how technical specification requirement/documents are integrated into tender activities, oversees and reviews stakeholder’s documentation as required and manages tender process via various tools, including online portals
- Ensuring that all procurement and supply chain activities undertaken follow processes and procedures as set out by Mace, the client and relevant regulations
- Delivering the strategy and plans for area/unit, providing innovative solutions to support end to end process. Managing and providing leadership to a team of managers and professionals, ensuring the principles, structures, tools/capabilities and responsibilities are in place to deliver area plans and deliver excellence.
- Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have :

- Experience of working in a PMO and/or DP programme.
- Degree or equivalent; CIPS Level 4 Diploma (or equivalent)
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Confident and proactive communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with a structured and proactive approach to problem solving.
- Negotiation, data analysis, detail orientation.
- Proven project experience with construction and/or real estate market knowledge.
- Influences senior stakeholders: main contractor experience in major city environments.
