About this role
What We Need KFC Global is seeking a Staff Architect to provide architecture leadership across our global restaurant technology portfolio. You will work with product, engineering, market technology teams, and Yum! architecture teams across digital commerce (Web, Mobile App), loyalty, POS, and restaurant technology.
You Have
- 7+ years of software engineering, solution architecture, or platform architecture experience
- Strong experience designing distributed, cloud-native systems on AWS
- Experience with digital platforms, microservices, APIs, and integration architecture
- Experience with React, React Native and Mobile App deployments
- API design and review experience
- Experience integrating cloud platforms with enterprise or in-store systems
- Experience producing architecture diagrams and technical decision records
- Experience participating in architecture reviews or technical governance
- Strong technical judgment and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Digital commerce or omni-channel loyalty experience
- POS, restaurant, or retail technology experience
- Azure experience
- Familiarity with messaging, event-driven architectures, and data platforms
- Enterprise Architecture or architecture governance experience
