McLarty Associates is seeking a talented, organized, principled, resourceful, and enterprising individual for a full-time position as Associate or Senior Associate. The position directly supports the firm’s President. The position is based in Washington, D.C. The associate will be expected to work in-person.

Ideal candidates will combine knowledge of U.S. and foreign policy with a commitment to and experience in advancing organizational success. Applicants should have a strong background in global affairs, an interest in business, and demonstrated interest and/or experience living or studying outside the United States. Proficiency in at least one language in addition to English is strongly preferred. A specialization in Europe or Eurasia is preferred.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

We are seeking individuals who are:

· Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, Salesforce, and other business applications and media platforms

Responsibilities of the position include:

· Administrative support to the firm’s President (coordinating and maintaining schedules, completing expense reports, event planning, making travel arrangements, etc.); The ideal candidate will see these administrative responsibilities as integral to advancing the firm’s success

· Support President and senior leaders in management of global clients, including actively participating in client and business development meetings to support the president and advance the firm’s goals

· Assist with, support, and advance business development efforts by drafting corporate profiles and business proposals; and liaising with clients and prospective clients

· Preparing presentations and other deliverables for internal and external (client, BD) stakeholders

· Attending and reporting on speeches, panel discussions, and policy forums of interest to the firm and clients

· Other duties as assigned

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, or New York, Ankura is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the said markets and considers a broad range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The range does not include additional benefits outside of salary. At Ankura, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each role. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range is between $69,000 to $95,000; this range is not a promise of a particular wage.
