About this role
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up production tooling on multi slide forming machines and presses to meet product specifications.
- Make tooling adjustments to ensure product maintains specifications and machines run properly and efficiently.
- Make repairs to production equipment, repairing or replacing defective parts.
- Performing light electrical tasks such as wiring sensors/fiber optics into control panels, testing and replacing fuses and cable repairs.
- Maintaining production tooling by replacing worn or defective components.
- Attend meetings (shift start, town halls, and training) as required.
- Other duties, not currently assigned, as required.
education and Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is an asset
- Experience in the following is preferred:
Set, maintain and adjust slide forming machines and presses.
- Electrical – machine wiring, sensors, fiber optics.
- Strip steel and wire experience.
- Millwright experience preferred.
- Machining/Tool and Die an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude a must

The expected compensation range for this position is $38/hr - $44/hr. This range includes base pay and target variable pay. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We also consider internal equity to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. This range reflects the expected full compensation range for the role; most offers will fall within the range and not at the maximum in order to allow for future growth.
