Engineering Scheduler

Job Title: Engineering Scheduler Job Description The Engineering Scheduler maintains and updates the overall production schedule using company-designated scheduling tools and ERP/MRP systems to support efficient manufacturing operations. This role enters and tracks project milestones, production windows, and key dates, ensuring schedule data remains accurate, complete, and aligned with project and production requirements. The Engineering Scheduler collaborates closely with Project Management, Production Control, Engineering, Procurement, and other stakeholders to keep schedules current, resolve discrepancies, and support on-time delivery of projects. Responsibilities

- Maintain and update the overall production schedule in designated scheduling tools, ERP/MRP systems, trackers, and reports.
- Enter new projects into the scheduling systems, including milestones, key dates, production windows, meeting dates, and status updates as directed by the scheduling leader and the Project Management Office (PMO).
- Update schedule information on a daily basis based on input from Project Management, Production Control, Production, Engineering, Procurement, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure schedule data remains clean and accurate, including dates, milestones, task owners, dependencies, constraints, and current status.
- Identify missing, outdated, conflicting, or unclear schedule information and follow up with stakeholders until accurate data is obtained.
- Chair, facilitate, or support project kick-off meetings (KOMs) and scheduling meetings called by Project Management as required.
- Confirm that project schedule assumptions, milestones, handoffs, and timing expectations discussed in meetings are captured and accurately reflected in the production schedule.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure project-level updates are accurately represented in scheduling tools, trackers, and reports.
- Track schedule-related action items arising from KOMs and project meetings and follow through to completion.
- Support consistent and timely communication between the PMO, scheduling function, production control, and operating departments to keep all parties aligned on schedule status and changes.

Essential Skills

- 1+ years of experience working as a production scheduler, project coordinator, or in operations administration.
- 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing setting.
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Suite with a strong experience in tools such as Excel for data management and reporting.
- Experience with logic-based planning and the ability to interpret and manage complex schedules.
- Experience with document review to verify accuracy, completeness, and alignment with schedule requirements.
- Familiarity with electrical equipment, including power distribution systems, medium voltage, and low voltage applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering and maintaining schedule data.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with cross-functional teams, including Project Management, Production Control, Engineering, and Procurement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems or similar production scheduling tools.
- Experience supporting or coordinating project kick-off meetings and scheduling discussions.
- Ability to identify inconsistencies or gaps in schedule information and proactively resolve them.
- Comfort working in a growing organization with expanding production capacity and increased project volume.
- experience or exposure to utilities and data center-related projects is beneficial.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
