Interested in working with children and building a career in behavioral health? Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center (ABTC) is growing our team of Behavior Technicians , and prior ABA experience is not required.

We’re looking for dependable and compassionate individuals who are ready to learn and make a difference. Through paid training, mentorship, and support from our clinical team, you’ll develop the skills needed to provide quality ABA services.

In this role, you’ll provide one-on-one support to children with autism and developmental disabilities, helping each client strengthen communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills through evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.

As a Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities, helping them strengthen communication, social, behavioral, play, self-help, and daily living skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) .

What You'll Do

As a Behavior Technician, you will:

- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes

- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA

- Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills

- Use positive, evidence-based strategies to support behavior change

- Collect session data and complete required clinical documentation

- Collaborate with BCBAs and other clinical team members

- Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers

- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings

Typical Schedule:

- Minimum availability of 15 hours per week

- Monday–Friday afternoon/evening availability

- Availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM

- Sessions are typically 2–5 hours

- Clients are primarily children and adolescents ages 3–17

Who We're Looking For

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred

- Experience working with children is a plus, but not required

- Minimum availability of 15 hours per week

- Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM

- Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and registration

- Willingness to travel up to 25 miles from your home for client sessions

- Dependable, professional, and organized

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Comfortable learning behavior intervention and data collection techniques
