Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center (ABTC) is seeking compassionate and motivated Behavior Technicians to provide individualized support to children with autism and developmental disabilities. You’ll gain direct experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies while helping clients strengthen communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
Whether you’re entering the field or building on existing experience, we provide paid training, mentorship, and ongoing clinical support to help you continue developing your skills.

What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach designed to help individuals develop meaningful skills that can improve their everyday lives.
Behavior Technicians use positive reinforcement, structured activities, play, and individualized teaching strategies to help children learn new skills and develop more effective ways to communicate, interact with others, complete daily routines, and navigate challenging situations.
In ABA, progress can take many forms. It might be a child learning to communicate a need, completing a routine more independently, engaging with a peer, developing a new coping skill, or reaching a milestone their family has been working toward.

What You'll Do
As a Behavior Technician, you will:
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
- Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills
- Help reduce challenging behaviors using positive, evidence-based strategies
- Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation
- Collaborate with supervising clinicians to support client progress
- Communicate professionally with families and caregivers
- Attend ongoing training and team meetings
Typical Sessions:
- 2–5 hours per session
- Children primarily ages 3–17 years
- Afternoon and evening schedules

What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Experience working with children is a plus, but not required
- Available a minimum of  15 hours per week
- Afternoon/evening availability between  1:00 PM and 8:00 PM
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and registration
- Willing to travel up to  25 miles  from your home for client sessions
- Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills
- Comfortable learning data collection and behavior intervention techniques
