The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a cleared Software Engineer to work in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities:

- Development, operation, and maintenance of unique software capabilities leveraging industry standard frameworks.
- Development of microservices, standalone code, design and interface development, software tests, automation scripts, etc. using a variety of object oriented and scripting languages.
- Develop within the GitLab application lifecycle management suite of tools leveraging industry and program/project standards and workflows such as pull requests within Git, task/issue management using GitLab issue boards, interaction with external applications and environments such as AI agents, AWS GovCloud hosted resources, etc.
- Interfaces with software engineering and cross-functional engineering teams at daily standups and during task execution across the development lifecycle. May also interface with customers, application users, and other technical and support personnel.

Qualifications:

Required:

- BA or BS in related engineering field or a minimum of five years of related work experience.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience working independently while decomposing complex or difficult coding problem sets.
- Proven technical individual development contributor, with demonstrated ability to interact with software development and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and appropriate third-party applications for used in tactical and embedded systems. Example third-party applications include, but are not limited to: SQL-based databases, AstroUX framework, Terraform/Ansible (or other similar infrastructure and automation tools), etc.

Desired:

- Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of microservices architecture principles.
- Basic understanding of Docker and containerization concepts.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,100-$172,400
