What You'll Do

The Environmental Services Technician I is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary areas throughout the facility using established Environmental Services procedures.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Perform routine cleaning using the 7-step cleaning procedure

- Clean patient rooms, including isolation and discharge cleaning

- Clean and disinfect assigned areas according to facility procedures

- Handle and remove trash, biohazardous waste, and sharps containers according to established safety procedures

- Replenish supplies such as paper products, soap, towels, batteries, and hand sanitizer

- Perform light cleaning and maintenance duties, including cleaning inside light fixture covers and air-conditioning vents

- Properly secure and maintain the Environmental Services cleaning cart

- Use wet-floor signs and other safety equipment appropriately

- Follow standard precautions and established infection-control and safety procedures

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Schedule

- PRN - As Needed

- 3 Days Per Week

- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required

- 1–2 years of previous housekeeping experience

- Previous healthcare or Environmental Services experience is a plus

- Ability to follow established cleaning and safety procedures

- Strong attention to detail

- Dependable attendance and punctuality

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment
