What You'll Be Doing
- Operate haul units and other mobile equipment safely and efficiently to support quarry production.
- Perform utility duties throughout the quarry, including cleanup, material handling, and equipment support.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections and report safety, equipment, or operational concerns promptly.
- Support plant and quarry operations by assisting with production, maintenance, and operational tasks as needed.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and environmentally compliant work area while contributing to team productivity goals.
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate or quickly learn to operate heavy mobile equipment in an industrial environment.
- Commitment to safety with the ability to follow procedures, policies, and operational standards.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify and communicate equipment or process issues.
- Dependable team player with strong work ethic and willingness to support a variety of operational tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outdoor environment and adapt to changing business needs.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
