About this role
- Plan trailers / containers according to daily requirements / maximum capacity
- Create and close out load lists in SAP for all customers
- Create manual shipping documents
- Get quotes from carriers
- Maintain customer- and trucking portals in the web
- Monitor due dates
- Communicate with production planers, carriers, material handlers, supervisor, warehouse manager
- Scan and file shipping documents
Other office duties
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Computer knowledge
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good attendance record
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Good communication skills
- Willing to work variable office hours, also weekends if necessary
- forklift license
- SAP and customs knowledge preferable
