General Job Description:
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLC logic and automation systems.
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on manufacturing equipment.
- Support machine optimization initiatives to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
- Lead and support machine build projects and automation upgrades.
- Coordinate with purchasing for maintenance and automation-related materials.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
- Maintain equipment in accordance with preventive maintenance programs.
- Support special projects and assist Maintenance Leadership as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate Degree in Mechatronics or equivalent technical field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of:
Allen-Bradley Studio 5000
- RSLogix 500
- FactoryTalk View Studio
- Siemens TIA Portal
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in manufacturing environments.
Preferred
- Experience in automotive manufacturing.
- Knowledge of injection molding processes and automated production equipment.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and equipment reliability initiatives.
- Continuous improvement and project management experience
