Job Title: Inside Sales Manager Job Description
This role involves managing and directing the daily activities of the Customer Service, Warehouse, Shop, and VMI Fulfillment teams. The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for making recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficient delivery of products and services. The position requires maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures while implementing plans to achieve organizational goals. The manager will lead and direct the work of others, determining workflow and scheduling, and proactively solving problems for both customers and employees. Ensuring customer satisfaction by assisting all customers in a professional, courteous, and responsive manner is essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage and direct daily activities of the Customer Service, Warehouse, Shop, and VMI Fulfillment teams.
- Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficient delivery of products and services.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Lead and direct the work of others, determining workflow and scheduling.
- Proactively solve problems for both customers and employees.
- Ensure all customers are assisted in a professional, courteous, reliable, honest, and responsive manner.
- Address customer needs and complaints in a timely manner.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of customer service/inside sales experience.
- 3+ years of management experience.
- Demonstrated analytical skills from past projects and assignments.
- Ability to execute business initiatives to achieve monthly and annual goals.
- Proficient in listening, oral and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to interact constructively and respectfully with both company employees and external individuals.
- Decision-making skills in support of people, customers, and suppliers, while working within company procedures.
- Highly organized.
- Intermediate skills or greater in Microsoft Excel.
- Intermediate skills or greater in Distribution ERP.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in operations management, retail, manufacturing, invoicing, profit and loss management, inventory tracking, and cycle counts.
Work Environment
The role requires a proactive and organized individual who can manage multiple teams and ensure the smooth operation of customer service, warehouse, shop, and VMI fulfillment activities. The individual will work closely with both internal staff and external customers, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant ERP systems is essential. A collaborative environment that emphasizes efficient processes and quality service delivery is at the core of this position.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.06/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
