University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support and care to our clients in Dearborn Heights, MI. In this role, you will assist individuals with daily living activities to help improve their quality of life and promote independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help clients with mobility and transferring safely.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to the supervisory team.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding client confidentiality and safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or home health aide preferred but not required.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Must be able to pass relevant background checks.
- Valid drivers license or reliable transportation may be required.
