Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Provide support with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
- Help clients with mobility and transferring safely.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Document and report any changes in client condition or needs.
- Build positive relationships to promote trust and emotional support.
Requirements
- Previous experience in direct care or related field is an asset but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient disposition.
- Must be able to pass background checks.
