About this role
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership for process control in the process.
- Problem resolution with suppliers and customers.
- Support the corrective action system (internal and external).
- Provide technical support to Mfg Engineering and Manufacturing regarding quality of product and its function within the design.
- Quality gage requirements for processes.
- Provide leadership to QC Engineers and Technicians.
- Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing in capacity studies, Gage R&R, and DOE.
- Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the department supervisor.
- Perform activities related to safety.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Education
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
Language
- 80% Bilingual.
Technical Knowledge
- Knowledge of ISO 9000.
- Geometric Tolerances and blueprint reading.
- Computer literate in Microsoft applications.
- Problem-solving techniques.
- PFMEA, DOE, QFD, PPAP, APQP.
- Experience in Quality Control.
Skills and Competencies
- Good analytical skills.
- Good judgment.
- Strong leadership.
- Good communication skills.
