Experience and Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality.
- 3 to 4 years of management experience.

- Strong knowledge of quality tools (Core Quality Tools).

- Knowledge of PFMEA, DOE, PPAP, and GD&T.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Quality Department Responsibilities

- Drive continuous improvement within assembly lines, manufacturing operations, and incoming quality processes.
- Make decisions regarding product release for delivery.
- Define and measure complex quality issues.
- Monitor the implementation and execution of problem-solving processes.
- Serve as the primary interface between the final customer (PPQ team) and the assembly line.
- Act as the main interface with internal customers to resolve assembly line issues.
- Responsible for follow-up actions from corrective action meetings.
- Support internal product reviews and inspections.
- Support the SQE team in containment activities and implementation of corrective actions related to supplier material.
- Support equipment calibration activities and ensure calibration execution.
- Provide technical support to assembly line operations.
- Maintain and coordinate effective communication with quality stakeholders.
- Communicate and collaborate with other BRP sites to standardize best practices.
- Participate in the approval process for deviation permits and engineering changes.
- Monitor plant quality performance.
- Track Balanced Scorecard metrics and establish action plans to achieve targets.
- Participate in risk assessment activities (PFMEA) and support action implementation.
- Support early development activities with IE and R&D.
- Provide leadership to Quality Engineers and Technicians.
- Plan and develop succession within the team.
- Develop team structures to improve department efficiency.
- Foster an innovative environment that motivates team members.
- Participate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams in continuous improvement projects.
- Perform activities related to safety and workplace organization.
- Participate in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements applicable to the role in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
- Comply with all safety requirements established for the position.
- Complete all planned Quality and Training-related training activities on time.
- Identify and report any quality or compliance issues and support corrective actions.
