About this role
Our mission at Les Nouvelles Recrues
We recruit you for who you are, not only for what's expected of you — and above all, we help you find THE role that fits YOU.
Today, we're recruiting an Social Media / Content Creative for our client, Chain of Events , the company behind the events where the people shaping technology actually meet — based in Paris.
About the company
Chain of Events runs three summits, all in Paris, all within the same week:
- Signal Week — the institutional summit for digital assets. Founded in 2019 as Paris Blockchain Week and elevated to Signal Week in 2026, it draws 10,000+ attendees from 100+ countries, roughly 70% of them C-suite. Its last edition convened 250+ banks and financial institutions, over $50T in assets under management, and 70 government officials and regulators — BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Fidelity, BNY Mellon, Citi, the London Stock Exchange, ESMA and the European Commission among them. The thesis: TradFi and digital assets are no longer two industries but one financial system being rebuilt on shared rails.
- RAISE Summit — the AI summit for decision-makers. Launched in 2024, it has grown from 2,000 to 9,000+ attendees across three editions (80%+ C-level, from 76 countries), with 350+ speakers spanning AI infrastructure, enterprise adoption, agentic systems, sovereignty and policy. The 2026 edition at the Carrousel du Louvre featured Mark Cuban, Yann LeCun and Nelson Griggs (Nasdaq), plus the Versailles AI Gala, the RAISE Hackathon and RAISE the STAKES (1,100+ startup applications in 2026).
- MACHINA Summit — Europe's leading event dedicated to Physical AI: intelligence that acts on the real world through humanoids, industrial robotics, autonomous systems and next-generation human–machine interfaces. Its inaugural 2026 edition brought together the labs building humanoids and the enterprises deploying robotics at scale, with speakers from Google DeepMind, Boston Dynamics, NVIDIA, 1X, Apptronik and Agility Robotics. It's the fastest-moving brand in the portfolio, with the most white space ahead of it.
In July 2026, all three brands were acquired by Hyve Group , the global B2B events organiser behind Fintech Meetup, HLTH and Shoptalk. In July 2027, they'll converge on the Palais des Congrès during the exact same week.
Role Overview
Chain of Events is looking for a Social Media Manager / Content Creative intern to own the day-to-day social presence of MACHINA Summit, working closely with and reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager for MACHINA, within the wider marketing team led by the Marketing Lead for RAISE and MACHINA. This is a hands-on creative role for someone who lives and breathes social - equally happy filming a robot on a factory floor, cutting a Reel on their phone, writing a sharp LinkedIn post, and testing a new AI video tool to see what it can do.
MACHINA is a young brand with a clear point of view: physical AI is moving from prototype to production, and MACHINA is the room where that happens. Your job is to make that story visible - growing an audience across LinkedIn and Instagram (and new channels as they make sense), turning speakers, sponsors, and industry moments into content people actually want to watch, and bringing MACHINA's own visual world to life. You'll have real ownership from day one, and a direct line to the people shaping the brand.
Key Responsibilities
Social Channel Management
- Run MACHINA's organic social channels day to day - primarily LinkedIn, X and Instagram - planning, scheduling, and publishing against a shared content calendar.
- Keep a consistent editorial voice that is credible, industrial, and forward-facing - never sensationalist, and never leaning on dystopian robot clichés. Narrative and Tone of Voice already set, but room for person to support expansion.
- Manage community engagement: replying to comments and messages, engaging with speakers, sponsors, and partners, and flagging opportunities or issues to the team.
- Coordinate with the RAISE social team on shared moments and cross-promotion, so the two brands support each other without blurring.
Content Creation
- Create original short-form content - Reels, carousels, motion snippets, quote cards, and short interviews - from brief through to final edit. Fully built design systems in Claude, Figma and Canva available to support experimentation.
- Turn speaker announcements, sponsor news, session recordings, and industry developments into timely, platform-native posts.
- Capture content in the field at MACHINA side events, activations, and partner moments, and build a library of reusable assets.
- Work within the MACHINA design system, and brief the design team and agencies on assets that need a specialist hand.
AI & Experimentation
- Use AI tools across the content workflow - ideation, scripting, captioning, image and video generation, editing, and repurposing - and share what works with the team.
- Test new formats, hooks, and tools quickly, keeping what performs and dropping what doesn't.
Performance & Insight
- Track performance across channels (reach, engagement, follower growth, video views, link clicks) and produce a simple, regular performance report.
- Use the data to recommend what to do more of, and what to stop.
- Follow the physical AI and robotics conversation online - news, companies, creators, and trends - to keep MACHINA's content relevant and on time.
What You'll Bring
Experience & Knowledge
- Currently studying (or recently graduated) in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field, and eligible for an internship agreement in France.
- Hands-on experience running social channels - for a brand, a student organisation, a previous internship, or your own accounts - with examples you can show.
- Confident creating short-form video: filming, editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar), and designing simple assets in Canva or Figma.
- Strong written English, with a clear, concise, and professional tone.
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI tools, with some hands-on experimentation already under your belt.
Working Style
- Ambitious and self-driven - you set a high bar for your own work and want to learn fast.
- Energised by a fast-paced environment, and comfortable with quick turnarounds and shifting priorities.
- Easy-going, open to feedback, and good-humoured under pressure - someone people enjoy working alongside.
- Collaborative by instinct: you share ideas early, ask for input, and support the people around you.
- Curious about technology - robotics and physical AI should interest you, even if you're new to the space.
Nice to Have
- A portfolio or accounts showing content you've created that performed well.
- Interest or experience in robotics, deep tech, or B2B technology.
- Experience with AI image and video tools (e.g. Runway, Higgsfield, Midjourney, or similar).
- French and/or Mandarin language skills, to support MACHINA's international and APAC audiences.
What we offer
- Paid internship
- Attendance at RAISE, MACHINA and Signal Week, alongside the most influential people in the industry
- 100% Navigo, meal vouchers (€12.79/day, €8 employer-covered)
- A diverse, multicultural team and real, visible impact on the work
Recruitment process
- Screening Interview (30 min): first conversation about your background and motivations.
- Hiring Manager Interview (30 min): deep-dive with the hiring manager on the role and your experience.
- Use Case (60–90 min): a practical exercise, presented and discussed with the team.
- CEO + HR Call (15-30min)
