About this role

Our mission at Les Nouvelles Recrues

We recruit you for who you are, not only for what's expected of you — and above all, we help you find THE role that fits YOU.
Today, we're recruiting an CRM Intern for our client, Chain of Events , the company behind the events where the people shaping technology actually meet — based in Paris.

About the company

Chain of Events runs three summits, all in Paris, all within the same week:

- Signal Week — the institutional summit for digital assets. Founded in 2019 as Paris Blockchain Week and elevated to Signal Week in 2026, it draws 10,000+ attendees from 100+ countries, roughly 70% of them C-suite. Its last edition convened 250+ banks and financial institutions, over $50T in assets under management, and 70 government officials and regulators — BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Fidelity, BNY Mellon, Citi, the London Stock Exchange, ESMA and the European Commission among them. The thesis: TradFi and digital assets are no longer two industries but one financial system being rebuilt on shared rails.
- RAISE Summit — the AI summit for decision-makers. Launched in 2024, it has grown from 2,000 to 9,000+ attendees across three editions (80%+ C-level, from 76 countries), with 350+ speakers spanning AI infrastructure, enterprise adoption, agentic systems, sovereignty and policy. The 2026 edition at the Carrousel du Louvre featured Mark Cuban, Yann LeCun and Nelson Griggs (Nasdaq), plus the Versailles AI Gala, the RAISE Hackathon and RAISE the STAKES (1,100+ startup applications in 2026).
- MACHINA Summit — Europe's leading event dedicated to Physical AI: intelligence that acts on the real world through humanoids, industrial robotics, autonomous systems and next-generation human–machine interfaces. Its inaugural 2026 edition brought together the labs building humanoids and the enterprises deploying robotics at scale, with speakers from Google DeepMind, Boston Dynamics, NVIDIA, 1X, Apptronik and Agility Robotics. It's the fastest-moving brand in the portfolio, with the most white space ahead of it.

In July 2026, all three brands were acquired by Hyve Group , the global B2B events organiser behind Fintech Meetup, HLTH and Shoptalk. In July 2027, they'll converge on the Palais des Congrès during the exact same week.

Role Overview

Chain of Events is looking for a CRM Intern to help build and run the audience engine behind MACHINA Summit, working closely with and reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager for MACHINA, alongside the wider Marketing team and working closely with the Marketing Lead for RAISE and MACHINA. This is a hands-on, data-minded role for someone who enjoys bringing order to a messy database, building a well-targeted email, and finding smart ways to use AI and automation to do in an hour what used to take a day.

MACHINA's audience is highly specific - robotics builders, industrial buyers across manufacturing, logistics, and energy, and the investors backing them - so the quality of the data is the quality of the marketing. You'll help clean and enrich MACHINA's database, build segments and target lists, support email campaigns, and keep reporting accurate as the 2027 edition launches.

Key Responsibilities

Data & Database Management

- Clean, deduplicate, and enrich MACHINA's contact and company data in HubSpot, following the team's data rules.
- Build and maintain audience segments and target lists by sector, job function, seniority, and region.
- Support prospect list building across MACHINA's priority sectors, using research and enrichment tools.
- Keep records and properties consistent, so the database carries forward from one edition to the next rather than being rebuilt each year.

Email & Lifecycle

- Build and QA email campaigns in HubSpot - set-up, segmentation, personalisation, testing, and scheduling.
- Support nurture flows and automated sequences for different audience segments, from first touch to registration.
- Help manage registration data, promo codes, and follow-ups in collaboration with the delegate sales team.

AI & Automation

- Use AI tools to speed up research, enrichment, copy variants, and data clean-up - and document what works.
- Help identify repetitive CRM tasks that could be automated, and support the team in building those automations across HubSpot and Monday.com .

Reporting & Insight

- Maintain dashboards and regular reports on database health, email performance, and registrations.
- Spot patterns in the data - which segments engage, convert, or go cold - and share them with the team.

What You'll Bring

Experience & Knowledge

- Currently studying (or recently graduated) in marketing, business, data, or a related field, and eligible for an internship agreement in France.
- Comfortable with data: confident in Excel or Google Sheets (filters, lookups, pivot tables) and careful with detail.
- Some exposure to a CRM or email platform (HubSpot, Salesforce, Brevo, Mailchimp, or similar) through study, a previous internship, or a project.
- Clear written English, and an instinct for what makes an email worth opening.
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI tools and automation, and a willingness to experiment.

Working Style

- Ambitious and eager to learn - you want to understand how marketing data turns into revenue.
- Organised and precise, and comfortable working at pace when campaigns go live.
- Easy-going and approachable, happy to ask questions and take feedback.
- Collaborative, working smoothly across marketing, sales, and the wider team.
- Curious about technology - robotics and physical AI should interest you, even if you're new to the space.

Nice to Have

- HubSpot Academy certifications (e.g. CRM or Marketing Hub fundamentals).
- Familiarity with Monday.com or similar work-management tools.
- Interest in B2B events, deep tech, or industrial technology.

What we offer

- Paid internship
- Attendance at RAISE, MACHINA and Signal Week, alongside the most influential people in the industry
- 100% Navigo, meal vouchers (€12.79/day, €8 employer-covered)
- A diverse, multicultural team and real, visible impact on the work

Recruitment process

- Screening Interview (30 min): first conversation about your background and motivations.
- Hiring Manager Interview (30 min): deep-dive with the hiring manager on the role and your experience.
- Use Case (60–90 min): a practical exercise, presented and discussed with the team.
- CEO + HR Call (15-30min)

Working Environment

This role sits within a fast-paced, high-energy marketing team supporting some of Europe's leading AI and technology summits. Social moves quickly, and so does the event cycle - expect steady weeks of planning and creation alongside busy peaks around announcements, launches, and side events. The ability to stay organised, communicate clearly, and keep your creative standard high under pressure is essential.
