Head Chef / General Manager

$65,000–$70,000 per year | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Picasso Restaurant Group is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Head Chef / General Manager to lead our Troy location!
This is a great opportunity for a culinary professional who wants a leadership role with a consistent daytime schedule — no nights and no regular weekends.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all daily kitchen and café operations
- Lead, train, schedule, and develop kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and excellent customer service
- Manage food ordering, inventory, and food costs
- Maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with menu planning and daily food production
- Monitor labor and operating costs
- Create a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment
- Work closely with Picasso Restaurant Group leadership to ensure the location operates efficiently and successfully
- Participate in catering and special events as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, General Manager, or similar leadership role
- Strong culinary and kitchen management experience
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Knowledge of food costs, ordering, inventory, and labor management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to quality, cleanliness, and customer service
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced food service environment
- Catering or high-volume food service experience is a plus
Schedule & Compensation
Monday–Friday
7:00 AM–3:00 PM
No regular nights or weekends
Salary: $65,000–$70,000 per year
Eligible for health benefits after 90 days
Paid Vacation Time, all major holidays off
