Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain embedded software/firmware for sensor-based monitoring and control systems used in Oil & Gas applications.
Develop software for sensor data acquisition, processing, diagnostics, communications, and device management.
Collaborate with hardware engineers on the integration of sensors, batteries, PCBs, and communication interfaces.
Perform software development, debugging, unit testing, system integration, and troubleshooting of field-deployed devices.
Work with system and program teams to define requirements and deliver reliable software solutions for industrial environments.

Work Experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in embedded software/firmware development.
Strong programming experience in C/C++ and familiarity with embedded development environments.
Experience working with microcontrollers, sensors, communication protocols, and hardware/software integration.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Oil & Gas, industrial automation, instrumentation, IoT, or condition-monitoring systems.
Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, Modbus, UART, SPI, I²C, RS-485, or Ethernet.
Experience with low-power/battery-operated embedded systems.
Familiarity with embedded Linux, RTOS, Python, or automated testing frameworks.
Understanding of environmental and reliability requirements for industrial/field-deployed equipment.
