Fisherman’s Market Richmond Yards brings together a state-of-the-art seafood market, fresh grab-and-go offerings and Monte’s Lunch, our seafood-forward dining experience.

We are looking for a high-energy, entrepreneurial  Store Manager to lead these operations as one connected customer experience. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building teams, developing community relationships, creating exceptional customer experiences and finding new ways to grow a business.

What You’ll Do

- Lead the Richmond Yards seafood market, grab-and-go offerings and Monte’s Lunch.

- Drive customer traffic, repeat visits, sales growth and customer loyalty.

- Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing and engaged team.

- Deliver exceptional and consistent service across the entire Richmond Yards experience.

- Manage scheduling, labour, inventory, food safety and financial performance.

- Build relationships with local businesses, restaurants and community organizations.

- Identify opportunities for events, partnerships, promotions and community engagement.

- Maintain excellent product presentation, merchandising, quality and operational standards.

- Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities to improve performance.

- Lead Monte’s Lunch in partnership with the culinary and service teams, ensuring consistent service, quality and brand standards.

- Bring forward new ideas and take a hands-on approach to growing the business.

What You Bring

- Management experience in retail, hospitality, food service, specialty food or another customer-focused environment.

- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.

- An entrepreneurial mindset and confidence taking initiative.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

- A passion for customer service, community engagement and business growth.

- The ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational execution.

- Energy, creativity and a hands-on leadership style.

Seafood experience is an asset, but a passion for serving customers, leading people and growing a business is even more important.
