CNC Mill Team Lead Job Description:
PrideStaff is assisting a local engineering and machining company who is seeking a CNC Mill Team Lead to join their growing team. The CNC Mill Team Lead is responsible for leading daily operations of the department; ensuring team members are successful and supporting production flow with high quality parts. This role is hands-on, working with complex parts and process development while leading the team with training , The CNC Mill Team Lead is a full-time, direct hire in Phelps, NY.
CNC Mill Team Lead Job Responsibilities:
Directs a group of employees. Responsible for departmental supervision. Sets up, programs and runs new jobs. Trains others within the group. Responsible for quality, quantity and safety of the group. Liaison between customer/purchasing/engineering and outside groups. Responsible for departmental scheduling. Assist with the development and implementation of quality programs. Responsible for work in process/inventory control. May assist with performance reviews. Keeps accurate records. Ensures work areas are kept clean. Will perform other duties as directed. Relevant AS9100 competencies as defined by QL-7200 Training Matrix.
CNC Mill Team Lead Job Requirements:
HS Diploma or Equivalent Required
1+ Years of CNC Experience is Required
Experience With Metal Under Tight Tolerances is Preferred
Ability to Read & Understand Drawings or Blueprints is Required
Knowledge of Quality Procedures & AS9100 Standards
Experience &/or Knowledge in CAD/CAM Software
Demonstrates Excellent Attention to Detail & Time Management Skills
Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
Lead & Train Others as Needed
Ability to Sit & Stand For Extended Periods of Time

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $28.00 - $33.00
