About this role
Responsible for the design, development, alteration, and/or modification of Revit libraries that are utilized to create shelter designs. Obtains feedback from structural and electrical designers on the functionality of family objects for the design and maintenance of the objects.
- Develop BIM models for the Revit library based on experience, sketches, and verbal information from others. Including but not limited to information obtained from vendor cut sheets, bid letters, customer specifications, and customer supplied drawings.
- Ensure libraries are projects are maintained, meet standards, and provide the desired functionality in models.
- Assist in development and documentation of Revit library standards.
- Develop strong interdepartmental relationships and open communication lines to assure efficient problem resolution
- Possible travel as needed.
- Performs other assigned duties as required by management.

Qualifications
- Associates Degree or certificate in computer aided design for AutoCAD/Revit or equivalent experience in Revit in a related field.
- 1 year minimum on the job experience with Revit Family creation for structural, mechanical, and electrical fields.
- Revit prefered
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer programs: Windows, Word, Excel, the latest release of AutoCAD, the latest release of Revit.
- Knowledge of algebra and geometry and mathematical formulas.
- Technical ability in the Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical fields.
