About this role
Responsible for maintaining clean and hazard-free office and production areas.
- Clean break room to include wiping tables, picking up trash, sweeping and mopping
- Clean restrooms in plant and office areas
- Clean office area to include sweeping, mopping and emptying trash
- Empty dumpster and trash cans as needed
- Clean/Sweep around buildings on the track
- Sweep around saws, tables, and production areas
- Operate cardboard compactor
- Assist in safety painting/striping when required
- Maintain good housekeeping practices with an emphasis on safety regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
- Minimum of six (6) months custodial experience
- Ability to operate a tow motor (certification required after training)
- Ability to interpret instructions (both written and verbal)
- Ability to effectively carry out instructions with little supervision
- Ability to handle problems involving variables in schedule
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Drivers License Required
