Position Summary
The New Product Integration (NPI) Planner supports the launch of new semiconductor products from development through production. Working in an SAP-based planning environment, this role coordinates materials, schedules, and supply chain activities with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, and Program Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate material planning for prototype, qualification, and production builds.
- Review demand, inventory, and MRP signals in SAP to support material readiness.
- Create and maintain purchase requisitions, production orders, and planning transactions.
- Track critical materials, expedite shortages, and communicate schedule risks.
- Support product transitions from development through volume production.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to meet launch schedules and customer commitments.
- Maintain accurate SAP planning data, material parameters, and reports.
- Support continuous improvement in planning efficiency, inventory, and data accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, planning, procurement, or a related internship or co-op.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing, electronics, or another high-tech industry.
- Experience with SAP ERP, MRP, inventory management, or production planning concepts.
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and analytics tools.
Work Location
- Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 4 days per week onsite.
- One remote day per week, subject to business needs and manager approval.
- Additional onsite support may be required during critical product launch activities.
Key Success Measures
- On-time material readiness for NPI, engineering, and qualification builds.
- Accurate SAP planning and inventory data.
- Effective shortage management and cross-functional launch support.
