What will your role be?

Reporting to the Quality and Operational Excellence Manager, you will play an active role in the quality management system. The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality of products manufactured at the plant and parts manufactured internally, as well as ensuring the conformity of supplier parts.

Responsibilities

- Perform visual inspections, dielectric tests, continuity tests, and other tests related to quality management
- Conduct root cause analyses of internal and external non-conformities
- Provide the technical support required to maintain production activities
- Act as an internal auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
- Implement concrete corrective actions to resolve non-conformities
- Participate in training activities
- Support production teams in resolving quality-related issues
- Actively contribute to the company’s quality culture
- Meet with and train employees regarding quality issues and non-conformities

This position requires working the evening shift, from 4:00 p.m. to midnight, at our Drummondville plant.

What you’ll need to succeed

- College diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field
- 0–2 years of experience in a related field
- Practical knowledge of measuring instruments
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
- Very good command of French, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of LUG2 and CREO is considered an asset
- Experience with audits and ISO standards is considered an asset
- Strong resourcefulness and problem-solving skills
- Versatile, detail-oriented, and attentive

English would be considered an asset for this position but is not a requirement. The successful candidate must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position in French. Knowledge of English may be beneficial for one or more of the following reasons:

- Occasional interaction with English-speaking customers, suppliers, or colleagues outside of Quebec.
- Accessing reference materials, documentation or software that is available only in English;
- Other business-related situations where English may be beneficial but is not required to perform the essential duties of the role.
