About this role
At Sunset Cadillac of Sarasota, we are seeking to fill an Accounting Office position for our automotive dealership accounting team. Previous accounting experience is preferred, especially automotive accounting or title work, but not required. If you have basic to intermediate computer skills and a desire to learn automotive accounting, we will train you on the rest. Schedule is full-time, daytime hours Monday-Friday.

As an accounting office associate with Sunset Automotive Group, you will enjoy a professional, friendly business environment in a small office setting. Our accounting team members generally work independently and have their primary area(s) of responsibility, but also support each other and the dealership as a whole.
Accounting Clerk Requirements
We do not require specific education or experience for this role; however, you will need to start with some aptitude and skills to succeed in this position. We are looking for someone who is/has:
- Organized and self-motivated to complete your work accurately and efficiently
- Some office experience and basic understanding of business accounting is preferred
- Aptitude with numbers and basic math
- Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Excel and accounting software- don't worry, we'll train you on the specific software we use
- Flexible and able to work in a team environment
- Independent judgment and critical thinking skills to know when something needs a second look
