Home Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide in-home assistance and support to our clients in Ida, MI. This role involves helping clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Help with mobility and transferring to ensure client safety.

- Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.

- Monitor clients well-being and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their social interaction.

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and safety guidelines.

Requirements

- Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.

- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a genuine desire to help others.

- Must pass background checks.
