Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support and assistance to clients in Hartland, MI. The ideal candidate will help improve the quality of life for individuals by offering personalized care and companionship in their own homes.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Provide medication reminders and assist with mobility as needed.

- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.

- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.

- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients well-being.

- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

- Document care provided and report any changes in clients condition.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar caregiving role is an asset.

- Ability to follow care plans and instructions carefully.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a genuine interest in helping others.

- Ability to pass background checks.
