General Description and Classification Standards
The Data Reporting Analyst is responsible for reporting, analysis, and metrics of work in support of the Aviation Contract Administration Team. Conducts departmental research, sourcing, reporting, operations management, and departmental operations. Designs and prepares reports by accessing databases or by consolidating data from multiple sources. Lays out report formats and produces reports. May summarize data and provide commentary or observations based on analysis. Sources of data may be enterprise systems, complex spreadsheets, databases, etc. requiring specialized expertise or training. Supervision received and performed work under general supervision with review and advice from a manager or a senior-level professional. May work independently or with other team members to complete assigned tasks.
Note: positions in this class may also perform other related administrative or operational tasks within the organization provided they have a similar level of professional challenge.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business/public administration, accounting, finance, or related field (Additional years of experience may be considered as a substitute for the required degree on an exceptional basis, with a minimum of seven (7) years of professional related experience in creation, reporting, and/or management of data), and
- Three (3) years of work experience in creation, reporting, and/or management of data or closely related tasks (not including data entry).
Licensures and Certifications - No specific certifications or licensures required. Individual positions may require completion of training in specific reporting languages or software.
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor’s degree as described above, plus 4 years’ experience in data analysis.
Skilled (intermitted level) in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Oracle.

Lifting Requirements
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Work Schedule
This position follows the City’s hybrid work schedule policy as assigned by the Department of Human Resources Commissioner and requires in-person work at City worksites/facilities at least four (4) days per week, with the option to work remotely one (1) day per week, based on eligibility, departmental needs, and supervisor approval. The hybrid work schedule is subject to change at any time to five (5) days in-person work.
