The impact you’ll make
A Supply Chain Capacity Planner is part of the Global Operations Supply Planning Team, where you will be responsible for assessing supplier capacity risk and influencing commodity teams with the goal of improving Lam's responsiveness to customer demands.
What you’ll do
- Drive preplanning to support ramping products, requiring a high-touch point with the Product Sizing Team & Inventory Management (activities include: supply vs demand preplan analysis & recommendations, financial impact assessment, execution of cons / dynamic safety stock bin level uplifts, tracking and monitoring preplan performance).
- Critical point of contact working closely with Supply Chain stakeholders to identify and mitigate supplier capacity risks (US-based Commodity Teams - SCMs / SBMs / Suppliers).
- Create and maintain commodity-specific capacity models that will drive the appropriate constraint plans to support our build-plan and spares requirements.
- Drive supply vs demand analysis, identify supply/demand risk, perform simulations using Kinaxis and SAP planning systems.
- Support on-going business process development and improvements: Kinaxis enhancement testing, DT UAT, PBI dashboard, SCCP Day-In-The-Life Activities documentation and training.
- Develop and deliver clear and concise communications for leadership teams and stakeholders.
Who we’re looking for
- Understanding of supply planning and advanced planning systems, such as Kinaxis and SAP.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret and utilize data to support and drive business decisions.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for executive and stakeholder messaging.
- Problem-solver and solutions-oriented mindset to actively contribute towards a complex planning function.
- Comfortable with being in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years of related experience in project management or program management.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications
- Supply chain and material planning knowledge.
- Familiar with planning systems, such as Kinaxis and SAP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary
CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $72,000.00 - $170,000.00.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
