SR. Financial Analyst

Hybrid | FP&A Team Job Description This role involves providing financial planning and analysis support to the Corporate FP&A team during budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, and strategic financial initiatives. The position is for an experienced individual contributor responsible for developing financial models, performing complex analyses, preparing executive reporting, and supporting business decisions across multiple corporate functions. The role involves partnering with Finance, Accounting, Actuarial, Operations, and other business stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights while supporting enterprise planning activities and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities

- Develop financial models and perform complex analyses.
- Prepare executive reporting and support business decisions across multiple corporate functions.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Actuarial, Operations, and other business stakeholders.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights.
- Support enterprise planning activities and process improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of related experience in data analysis, financial reporting, financial analysis, and/or forecasting beyond the degree.
- Expert or advanced MS Excel skills and PowerPoint experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of the health insurance industry, operations, and key expense drivers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Adaptability and fast learning ability.
- Solution-oriented project management skills.
- TM1 and/or SQL, and Workday experiences desired.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with budget and forecasting cycles within a complex organization.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Minnetonka, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $52.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
