Job Title: Training Facilitator Job Description
The Training Facilitator supports the onboarding, training, and development of production employees in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures new hires receive thorough training on safety procedures, quality standards, manufacturing processes, and equipment operation before working independently on the production floor. The Training Facilitator delivers both classroom and hands-on instruction while coaching employees to become productive, safe, and successful team members.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured classroom-style training sessions covering safety procedures, quality standards, manufacturing processes, and equipment operation.
- Provide hands-on practical training on production tools and equipment to ensure employees can perform tasks safely and correctly.
- Facilitate workshops and group learning sessions that engage employees and reinforce key manufacturing and safety concepts.
- Coach new hires and existing production employees to build confidence, improve performance, and support their development as effective team members.
- Teach employees with varying experience levels, adapting training methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs.
- Present training content confidently to groups, ensuring clear communication and strong participant understanding.
- Support compliance with safety training requirements and standards by delivering required programs and reinforcing safe work practices.
- Use manufacturing and production experience to provide real-world examples and practical guidance during training.
- Ensure employees are properly trained before working independently on the production floor, verifying readiness and understanding.
- Collaborate with production teams to align training content with current processes, equipment, and quality expectations.
Essential Skills
- 47 years of experience training employees in a professional setting.
- Proven experience conducting classroom-style training sessions.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver hands-on practical training on tools and equipment.
- Experience facilitating workshops and group learning sessions.
- Ability to teach employees with varying levels of experience and skill.
- Strong classroom facilitation and communication skills.
- Confidence presenting to groups of employees.
- Manufacturing or production experience with understanding of shop-floor operations.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment used in manufacturing environments.
- Experience providing safety training and supporting safety compliance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience designing or supporting training and development programs in a manufacturing setting.
- Coaching skills to guide employees toward improved performance and safe work habits.
- Ability to build rapport with production employees and encourage active participation in training.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple training sessions and groups.

Work Environment
This role is based onsite in a classroom setting within a manufacturing environment, working Monday through Friday. The Training Facilitator operates in a structured training space while closely supporting production operations, using manufacturing tools and equipment as part of hands-on instruction. The environment emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to established procedures, with regular interaction with production employees and operational staff.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Oxnard, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
