Clinic Scheduler

Position Summary
The Clinic Scheduler is responsible for coordinating patient appointments, imaging studies, and procedures while serving as a primary point of contact for patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring a positive patient experience.
Essential Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, diagnostic imaging, and procedures.
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments, instructions, and follow-up needs.
- Confirm appointments and provide reminders to reduce missed visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update scheduling systems.
- Verify insurance information and assist with scheduling-related authorizations.
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to optimize patient schedules and workflow.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address patient questions and concerns.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical office experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Experience with EMR systems preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Outstanding customer service skills and attention to detail.
