Your Impact

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager  to take end-to-end ownership of assigned capabilities within OpenText eDiscovery. In this role, you will define product vision and strategy, translate client and market needs into clear product direction, establish multi-quarter roadmaps, and lead cross-functional execution from discovery through release, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement.

You will operate at both strategic and execution levels—setting a compelling direction for assigned eDiscovery capabilities while providing the day-to-day Product Owner leadership required to deliver them. You will independently own meaningful components or capability areas within the broader eDiscovery product strategy, defining the problems to solve, desired client and business outcomes, investment priorities, dependencies, and delivery plans.

You will work closely with Engineering, Architecture, UX, Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, Support, Security, Compliance, and other stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade capabilities that create measurable client and business value.

What the Role Offers

- Defining and communicating a clear, evidence-based vision and strategy for assigned eDiscovery capabilities, aligned with broader product strategy and measurable client and business outcomes.
- Owning the complete product lifecycle, from problem discovery and investment framing through requirements, development, release, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement.
- Building and maintaining multi-quarter product roadmaps and making clear prioritization and investment trade-offs based on client value, strategic alignment, market differentiation, risk, effort, and commercial impact.
- Translating product strategy into well-defined epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, release plans, and a prioritized backlog that provides Engineering with clarity on both outcomes and intent.
- Leading cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Architecture, UX, Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, Support, Security, Compliance, and other teams.
- Identifying and actively managing cross-team dependencies, establishing clear owners and decision points, removing ambiguity, and driving issues to resolution without waiting for escalation.
- Gathering and synthesizing insights from clients, field teams, usage data, technical stakeholders, market trends, and competitive analysis to validate problems, priorities, and product direction.
- Acting as the authoritative voice for assigned capabilities and communicating product direction, decisions, priorities, and outcomes clearly to delivery teams, stakeholders, clients, and senior leadership.
- Conducting product reviews, demonstrations, and stakeholder engagements as required to build alignment and product advocacy.
- Coordinating the inputs required for successful releases, including UX, security, compliance, accessibility, localization, enablement, documentation, and operational readiness.
- Measuring product outcomes after release, using qualitative and quantitative feedback to refine the roadmap, improve product practices, and continuously raise the quality of product decisions.
- Building strong relationships across globally distributed teams and influencing outcomes effectively in an environment where direct authority may be limited.

What you need to Succeed

- Significant experience in software product management or product ownership, with demonstrated independent ownership of a product, platform area, or substantial end-to-end capability.
- Proven ability to define product vision and strategy, connect them to client and business needs, and translate them into actionable roadmaps and executable plans.
- Strong experience managing the complete product lifecycle, including discovery, requirements definition, prioritization, development, release planning, adoption, measurement, and iteration.
- Strong understanding of Agile and iterative software development methodologies, including backlog management, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, release planning, and collaboration with Engineering teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical and product topics for varied audiences, including senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple teams and manage complex dependencies in a global software organization without direct authority.
- Strong prioritization and decision-making skills, with the ability to make effective trade-offs and drive progress through ambiguity and changing business or technical constraints.
- Highly self-motivated and outcome-oriented, with strong ownership, follow-through, quality standards, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to work effectively with developers and architects, understand technical constraints, and participate meaningfully in architecture, security, compliance, and operational discussions.
- Experience gathering and synthesizing client, field, market, competitive, usage, and technical feedback into coherent product requirements and informed product decisions.
- Experience working with enterprise software, SaaS, cloud platforms, complex workflows, APIs, integrations, or platform capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust and drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, Services, Support, and other functions.
- Experience supporting product releases and go-to-market readiness, including demonstrations, enablement, documentation, positioning, or field engagement.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of eDiscovery, legal technology, analytics, information governance, compliance, security, or related enterprise software domains.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS or cloud-based software products and globally distributed development organizations.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, platform capabilities, or complex enterprise workflows.
- Experience in product management for technically complex enterprise products or platforms.
- Familiarity with accessibility, security, privacy, localization, certification, compliance, and release-governance requirements.
- Experience using product analytics, client feedback, market intelligence, or competitive analysis to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.
- Experience working with global clients, enterprise customers, field organizations, or professional services teams.
