About the role:

As In-Room Dining Manager, you will lead a round-the-clock operation that brings the hotel’s celebrated culinary experience into every guest room and suite. You will own the guest experience, the team and the financial results of In-Room Dining, working closely with the Culinary, Rooms and Guest Relations teams to deliver personalized, anticipatory service at every hour of the day

What you will do:

- Oversee and plan every aspect of in-room dining to guarantee effective and seamless service

- Lead a 24-hour operation across all shifts, covering order taking, kitchen coordination, delivery, set-up and timely tray and trolley retrieval

- Create and execute policies, processes and standards of service to improve guest satisfaction

- Deliver Four Seasons Core Standards, LQA and Forbes Travel Guide standards for In-Room Dining, including order accuracy and order-to-delivery times

- Manage the In-Room Dining P&L, including revenue, average check, covers, labour cost and productivity, cost of sales and operating equipment; advise F&B Management on forecasts and the annual budget

- Drive revenue through suggestive upselling and periodical menu updates

- Partner with the Executive Chef and culinary team on menu engineering, menu refreshes and presentation, ensuring the in-room menu reflects the quality of the hotel’s award-winning restaurants

- Recruit, onboard, schedule and train the team; monitor and evaluate performance, providing constructive feedback, coaching and development plans

- Handle guest inquiries, concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, aiming to resolve issues and exceed guest expectations

- Use guest history and preferences to personalize service, and coordinate VIP amenities and special requests with Front Office, Housekeeping and Guest Relations, always with discretion

- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures, HACCP, Hong Kong FEHD licensing requirements and occupational safety and health standards

- Control inventory and par levels of operating equipment, and ensure trolleys, hot boxes and delivery equipment are well maintained

- Manage ordering and POS systems, including digital menus and in-room ordering technology, to keep the guest journey simple and accurate

- Prepare reports, analyze data and make recommendations to improve operational efficiency and financial performance

- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned with a positive and curious attitude

What you bring:

- Minimum 3 years of management experience in food and beverage within a luxury hotel; professional hotel in-room dining experience is highly desirable

- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, food presentation and service standards

- Sound financial acumen, with hands-on experience in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and labour scheduling

- Working knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, HACCP and Hong Kong food licensing regulations

- Confident user of hotel POS and property management systems and Microsoft Office

- Calm, organized and guest-focused under pressure, with sharp attention to detail

- Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin

- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred
