Senior Messaging Infrastructure Engineer

Do you have a proven track record working as a Messaging
Engineer with some knowledge of IAM?

Sopra Steria’s Aerospace, Defence and Security sector are currently recruiting
for an experienced Messaging and IAM Engineer to support on the delivery of Messaging
and IAM strategy for a flagship account within the business. This role is
pivotal for the team covering both Messaging and IAM BAU activities as well as
working on high-profile projects in the aerospace industry. If you are looking

This role is based on site at one of our regional hubs (Newport, Portsmouth or
Stevenage) approximately 4 days per week.
Candidates who hold SC are preferred, SC processing
available for the right candidate. Due to the nature of the client, we are only able to progress with sole British
nationals.

What you’ll be doing:

- Key
team member for technical escalations.
- Customer
focused, working BAU tickets covering Messaging and IAM spaces.
- Working
with projects team as required – Includes supporting upcoming unique, large
scale, one of a kind, European-wide project.

What you’ll bring:

- Strong
experience with on-prem Exchange environments (2019 preferrable)
- Experience
managing patching schedules across Exchange environment with SU updates
- Understanding
of E-Mail/Messaging AV and Spam protection (Cisco ESA or Fortimail a plus)
- Experience
with Microsoft Active Directory at Enterprise/Multi Forest scale
- A
good understanding of Active Directory, Domain structure and Group
Policies (AD, OU, GPO)
- Strong troubleshooting and investigation skills
including root cause analysis and effective problem resolution.
- Single Sign-on/PKI knowledge
