What You'll Do

As a Construction Administrator, you'll oversee and coordinate critical construction administration activities for assigned projects while serving as a trusted resource for clients, contractors, and project teams.
### Key Responsibilities
Manage construction administration efforts for multiple architectural and engineering projects Review and process RFIs, ASIs, CCDs, Proposal Requests, Change Orders, Shop Drawings, and project documentation Interpret project specifications, contract documents, and AIA agreements Conduct site visits and field observations to monitor construction progress and ensure design intent is maintained Track project activities, correspondence, and construction documentation Collaborate with Owners, Clients, General Contractors, and internal project teams to resolve issues and maintain project schedules Review contractor pay applications and assist with project closeout activities Participate in construction meetings and provide guidance throughout the construction phase
## What We're Looking For

### Required Qualifications
Degree or certification in Construction Management, Architecture, Building Construction, Engineering Technology, or a related field Experience in Construction Administration within an Architecture or Engineering firm Strong understanding of commercial, institutional, healthcare, educational, or civic construction projects Knowledge of AIA contract documents and construction administration processes Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to travel locally for project site visits and inspections
### Preferred Qualifications
CCCA (Certified Construction Contract Administrator) certification Experience with Bluebeam, Newforma, or similar construction management software Strong client-facing skills and the ability to build effective relationships with contractors and stakeholders

This is a Permanent position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. This position is based in a collaborative architectural and engineering office in Charlotte, specializing in senior living, education, healthcare, and government facilities across multiple regions. The role combines in-office collaboration with regular site visits for construction observations and client and contractor meetings.
