Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Sr. Manufacturing Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to support and enhance manufacturing operations in a high-mix, low-volume production environment. This role involves leading process improvement initiatives, supporting new product introductions, optimizing manufacturing equipment and workflows, and providing technical leadership across Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams. Responsibilities

- Lead process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Support manufacturing operations through troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production issues.
- Manage and execute capital improvement projects, automation initiatives, and equipment upgrades.
- Drive successful new product introductions (NPI) from concept through production launch.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process standards.
- Analyze production metrics and identify opportunities to improve cycle times, throughput, and overall performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Product Development, and Maintenance teams to implement new processes and products.
- Mentor and support Manufacturing Engineers and CNC Programmers.

Essential Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
- Experience leading capital projects, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience with CAD software, tooling design, and manufacturing process development.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- PLC programming experience.
- Experience with CNC machining and manufacturing automation.
- Knowledge of DFM/DFA experience.
- Working knowledge of CMMS.

The role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
