Job Title: AI Systems Analyst, Intermediate

Job Summary:

The AI Systems Analyst supports the identification, development, deployment, and continuous improvement of AI solutions across Linamar. This role focuses on understanding business needs, assessing AI opportunities, gathering requirements, coordinating proof-of-concept initiatives, and supporting the adoption of successful solutions. The position works closely with business, operations, engineering, and IT teams to translate business challenges into practical and scalable AI applications.

Responsibility

- Partner with business, operations, engineering, and IT teams to identify, assess, and prioritize AI opportunities based on business value, feasibility, risk, and implementation readiness.
- Gather and document business requirements, process flows, use cases, success measures, and adoption needs for AI initiatives.
- Translate business challenges into practical AI solution concepts, implementation plans, and clear priorities for technical teams.
- Coordinate proof-of-concept and pilot AI initiatives by defining scope, aligning stakeholders, supporting testing, tracking actions, and documenting outcomes.
- Support the rollout, onboarding, training, and adoption of AI tools across teams and facilities.
- Support responsible AI implementation by documenting key risks, governance considerations, user impacts, and ownership requirements.
- Monitor user feedback, usage, and business outcomes to identify improvements and support continuous enhancement of AI solutions.
- Create clear requirements documents, process maps, business cases, user guides, training materials, and leadership updates.

Academic/Educational Requirements

- Post-secondary education in Business, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or another related discipline.

Required Skills/Experience

- Experience in business analysis, process improvement, project coordination, technology implementation, or a related role.
- Strong ability to work with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate discussions, and build alignment.
- Practical understanding of AI concepts and how AI tools can be applied to business processes, operations, or decision-making.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business value, feasibility, risk, and implementation effort.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare presentations, training materials, and updates for different audiences.
- Ability to turn complex business and technical information into clear, practical, and actionable documentation.
- Experience supporting testing, rollout, change management, training, or adoption of new tools, systems, or process improvements.

Nice to Have

- Experience with low-code AI tools, automation platforms, and enterprise data sources, such as Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, or similar systems.
- Familiarity with large language models, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, AI governance, solution evaluation, or prompt/workflow design.
- Programming or data experience with Python, SQL, APIs, dashboards, or enterprise systems.
- Experience developing business cases, measuring benefits, or tracking solution outcomes.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, robotics, automation, or operational technology environments.

Wage Band: $70,000 - $90,000
